This is achieved by a powerful built-in fan. The Bosch CS20 has an ultra-strong complex footplate which strongly resistant to deformation and damage. Footplate is 12 inches long and 6 5/8 inches wide and it spans 1 3/8 inches right side of the blade and 5 1/8 inches left side of the blade. The front edge is rounded aid it to just glide on irregular surfaces being cut. It is adjustable, strong and yet smooth on wood. The Bosch CS20 doesn’t have a cord attached but it has a cord retention hook and socket on its handle where a cord maybe connected.
