A Perfect Cutting Tool: Saw Mill Circular Saws

Circular Saws are metal disc or blade having saw teeth on the edge that can make the blade spin. It is used for cutting wood or other materials. It can be used hand held as well as by mounding it on table. The majority of these saws are designed to cut wood but some are may be equipped with blades designed to cut masonry, plastics or metal. There are also purpose-made circular saws which are specially designed for particular materials.


This tool is a “must have” since it has many uses. You can use it at home for improvement or renovations.  You can also use it for cutting logs.  This is also use for cutting commercial firewood as well. There is a wide range of circular saws you can choose from depending on how you are going to use it. 


In Saw mills, it is powered by water that makes a large wheel turn.  For smaller circular saws, it is powered by electricity. 


Saw mill use circular saws.  It uses very large circular saws.  The size of its diameter ranges up to nine feet or 2.97 meters.  The hand held depends on which side of the blade the plank falls away.


Benching is the term use to determine which hand the saw is.  It typically has a shear pin hole and off axis.  If the saw is overloaded, it will break.  It allows the saw to spin free.  The insert tooth cut-off (ITCO) is the most common version
